New Technologies 1. – Real time animation Real time animation – we can do lot better things than waiting for rendering. In the last few years with the development of graphic hardware the real time rendering has become more and more popular instead of time consuming shading, this is a simpler but also spectacular implemetation. Is it really worth it? And if yes, when exactly? And how is it possible that a 25-year old sub-culture exists which has always produced their short-films with this technique and why nobody heard about that? On the lecture concrete and spectacular examples will be shown introducing the real time version of some well known techniques. Lecturer: Gergely Szelei Kis / Conspiracy Room: A201 |
